The candidates who have been successful in the Secondary and Primary Teacher Selection Test 2024 have now announced to gherao the DPI (Directorate of Public Instruction) office in Bhopal on 6 May, declaring an agitation. The candidates say that they have completed a long selection process, yet the appointment orders are not being issued. They are forced to take the path of protest. According to the candidates, the recruitment process stretched from 2022 to 2026, the notification of recruitment was issued in 2022. The eligibility test was held in 2023, while the selection test was taken in April 2025 and the result was announced in September 2025. Even after this, the appointment process has not been completed till 2026. Despite the delay in the advertisement rules, the questionnaire conducting the examination says that the rules of the examination are not being issued despite the passage of the mandatory appointment order within 8 months of the selection order.
