Maharashtra Minister Defends Government's Handling of Paper Leak Incidents Amid Opposition Criticism

On the issue of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) movement and the paper leak, Maharashtra government minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule launched a scathing attack on the opposition. He said that the government has not shied away from its responsibility in the matter and strict action has been taken on the paper leak incidents. Bawankule claimed that the government took cognizance of the matter and exposed the entire matter through the investigating agencies. Chandrashekhar Bawankule said, "There is nothing left for the movement. Sometimes, the paper has been leaked in the system a couple of times. You are holding the minister responsible for it, you are holding the prime minister responsible. Yes, I believe that the government should take cognizance of the matter. We are not shying away from the responsibility. Neither the prime minister nor any minister is going. But one or two papers have been leaked from the system, you are holding the minister responsible and the government responsible. So the government has taken the responsibility."
