Maithili Thakur's Emotional Darshan at Jaipur's Govinddevji Temple

Daughter of Madhubani, Bihar, noted folk singer and BJP MLA from Alinagar, Darbhanga, Maithili Thakur became emotional during the darshan at the historic Govinddevji Temple in Jaipur. The devotional atmosphere of the temple and the bhajans of the devotees touched her heart so much that tears flowed from her eyes. Maithili Thakur had reached the temple with her two brothers, Rishabh and Ayachi. Maithili could not stop herself when the bhajan was echoing there, "Aaj toh naveli Radha goral pujan aai hai, goral pujan aai hai." She wrote on Facebook, "Till today I had never felt like this. But when I reached Govind Devji Temple, Jaipur for darshan, the atmosphere there, the bhajans of the devotees, the bells and claps touched my heart so much that I could not control myself. Tears kept flowing from my eyes, it felt as if all the burden of my mind had been lightened." Maithili Thakur is not only a singer, but also an active politician from BJP.
