Mamata Banerjee Condemns Attack on TMC Leader's House, Accuses BJP of 'Goondagardi'

In West Bengal, after the late night attack on the house of TMC national general secretary and MP Abhishek Banerjee, former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's anger has erupted. After this incident on the occasion of Kali Puja and Diwali, Mamata Banerjee has attacked the BJP, calling it'goondagardi '. Speaking to reporters, Mamata Banerjee said,'Tomorrow is Kali Puja and Diwali. Abhishek Banerjee's house was attacked at 2: 00 last night. This is our area, from where many processions of Maa Kali take place. Why are you creating so much disorder?'She further accused the government,'You cancelled our traditional, years-old puja permissions and allowed a new puja to be held in its place. Also, you stopped our local clubs from working last night. We are part of the INDIA alliance and this is the reason for their anger.'Mamata Banerjee further said,'The whole goondagardi is going on here. People come here at 2: 00 in the morning or 3: 00 in the morning. If you bulldozer gangs come here to celebrate Kali Puja, why do you come here at 3: 00 in the morning? '
