After losing power in the West Bengal assembly elections and facing the biggest electoral setback in years, Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee is now in the process of revamping the organisation. At her Kalighat residence in Kolkata, Mamata Banerjee held an important review meeting with all party candidates contesting the elections. Party's national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee was also present at this meeting. Amid the internal strife in the party after the defeat and speculation of leaders switching sides, Mamata Banerjee bluntly said that those who want to leave the party are free to do so. According to party sources, Mamata Banerjee spoke candidly on the reports of leaders switching sides. She said, "Those who are going to other parties, let them go. I will revive the party. Those who are staying with me, I tell them to repair the damaged party offices, re-open them. If they need to be re-painted and repainted, I will go to other offices."
