Man Shot and Killed on Way Home After Feast in India

The incident took place on October 23 at around 10 pm in Mathurapur village of Sibiganj. Santosh Kumar Sahu (37), a resident of the village, was working in a plywood factory at Parsakheda. He had reached near the Durgamata temple while returning from a feast. Lalit Kumar alias Lala, along with his associates, fired two rounds at him. One bullet hit Santosh near his eye, leaving him bleeding on the ground. The injured Santosh was admitted to a medical college. He died after four days of treatment. Police had already arrested three other accused in the case and sent them to jail.
