Modi's Convoy Reduction Sets Trend for Indian States Amid Global Crisis

The impact of the ongoing crisis in West Asia and rising oil prices is being felt all over the world. In the past, people have also started implementing the appeal made by PM Modi from the stage. A day before it was revealed that PM Modi's convoy has been reduced significantly, then the chief ministers, ministers and governors of many BJP-ruled states are also following the same path. According to government sources, Prime Minister Modi has reduced the number of vehicles in his convoy during recent domestic tours. This change was visible in the tour of Gujarat and Assam. However, the necessary arrangements of SPG protocol related to security have been maintained. Sources say that the Prime Minister has also suggested that electric vehicles be included in his convoy where possible, but new purchases are not being made for this.
