Morbi District Prepares for Monsoon Season with Disaster Management Plan

Khachar through a PowerPoint presentation, in which a statistical review of the rainfall received in Morbi district in the last 10 years was given. હતી.આગામી Detailed guidelines were given to the concerned officials regarding the responsibility of disaster management plan to take precautionary measures in case of excess rainfall during the monsoon. Strict instructions were given to initiate action for proper drainage of rainwater in the monsoon. People living in low-lying areas were asked to move to safe shelters in case of heavy rainfall, provide precautionary messages to the public about heavy rainfall and carry out rescue operation facilities including de-watering pumps, pipes, boats, ropes and generators.
