MP Ravi Kishan Meets Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to Discuss Gorakhpur Airport Expansion and Other Public Interest Matters

Member of Parliament from Gorakhpur Lok Sabha constituency, Shri Ravi Kishan Shukla paid a courtesy call on Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh in Parliament House on Monday (July 20). During the meeting, he discussed in detail several important issues related to Gorakhpur district and the entire Purvanchal, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defence. The most important topic of the meeting was the expansion of Gorakhpur Airport. MP Ravi Kishan told the Raksha Mantri that the number of passengers is continuously increasing in Gorakhpur. At the same time, economic activities are increasing rapidly in the region. In such a situation, the early expansion of Gorakhpur Airport is very important to ensure better air connectivity at the national and international level. He also drew the attention of the Raksha Mantri to other public interest issues and local problems related to the Ministry of Defence. During the meeting, Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh gave a patient hearing to all the issues raised by the MP. He also assured the concerned officers to take necessary action and examine all the issues related to the public interest.
