MPCB Takes Action Against Non-Compliant RMC Projects in Maharashtra

Several RMC projects have been found to be non-compliant with the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) rules. It has so far taken action against 13 projects. Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram has also warned that the city's health will not be compromised. The action against the plant, owned by the husband of a ruling corporator, has heated up the political atmosphere. While the RMC project is essential for the city's development, the health of the citizens will not be compromised. The administration has made it clear that the rules will be strictly followed without succumbing to any pressure.
