Mumbai Bomb Blasts Case: 12 Accused Sentenced to Five Years Imprisonment

The court has now sentenced 12 accused to five years imprisonment in the 33-year-old case, while a total of 15 accused, including underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, have been declared absconders. The serial bomb blasts in Mumbai in 1993 had shaken the entire country. Moreover, people were forced to live in an atmosphere of fear. According to the main details of the case, there were a total of 46 accused, out of which 12 were found guilty. But during the long duration of the trial, 11 accused, including the main conspirators, have died.
