The alleged sexual harassment and conversion case involving a TCS employee in Nashik, Maharashtra, has now taken a political and administrative turn. After the arrest of the main accused Nida Khan, the police have intensified the crackdown on those who helped her. According to the police, the Municipal Corporation has started a bulldozing operation at her house and office after the name of AIMIM corporator Abdul Matin Patel surfaced in this connection. According to the police, Matin Patel is accused of sheltering the accused Nida Khan in his house in Kausar Park area of Naregaon. Nashik Police have registered a case against him under Section 249 of the Indian Penal Code (BNS). After the arrest of Nida Khan, the police also detained and interrogated Matin Patel. Meanwhile, the Municipal Corporation claimed that the construction of the corporator's house and office is against the rules. The notice was issued three days ago and after the deadline was met, however, a police team with a heavy force reached the area on Wednesday morning.
