National Conference Prepares for Major Protest in New Delhi During Monsoon Session

The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC) is preparing to organise a major protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on the first day of the monsoon session of Parliament on 20 July. Senior leaders of the party met party president Dr. Farooq Abdullah at his Gupkar residence to finalise the strategies for the proposed protest. After this long meeting at the party president's residence, a statement was issued by the NC spokesperson clarifying the situation. The spokesperson said that a comprehensive strategy has been prepared to make the protest successful during the meeting. It has been decided by the party leadership that all the allies of the INDIA block and other political groups of Jammu and Kashmir will be formally invited to join the protest. Not only the parties of the alliance, but also the political parties that are part of the National Conference have been approached to join the NDA-INDIA block.
