Notorious Gangster Sujeet Sinha Killed in Jharkhand Police Encounter

Jharkhand Police killed notorious gangster Sujeet Sinha in an encounter during jail shifting. According to police, he was gunned down during the encounter. Detailed official information regarding the incident is awaited. Sujeet Sinha was originally a resident of Pathra village under Hussainabad police station area of Palamu district. He was brought up in Shrirampath area under Medinininagar town police station area. The family has an elder brother, a sister, and wife Riya Sinha. Riya Sinha is also lodged in jail in criminal cases, while her mother lives in another city with her elder son. Sujeet Sinha first came into the limelight in 2007 when two brothers, Anil Singh and Bhushan Singh, were shot dead over a tender dispute in Kandu Mohalla, two number towns under Medininagar town police station area. Police investigation identified Sujeet Sinha as the mastermind of the double murder. In 2019, he was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Palamu Behavioural Court in the case. He has several serious criminal cases registered against him in various police districts including Palamu, Rangdari and other organised crime networks.
