Odisha's Ambitious Highway Expansion and Railway Project Overhaul Gains Central Government Approval

Odisha's Works Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan announces a major highway expansion and railway project overhaul, aiming to improve connectivity, boost tourism, and enhance road safety. The central government has given the green light for projects including an eight-lane service road on National Highway-16, upgrading NH-316 into a six-lane controlled-access highway, and expanding the Tangi-Brahmapur-Ichchapuram stretch of NH-16.
