Odisha's Special Intensive Revision Deletes Over 20 Million Voter Records

Bhubaneswar: The ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Odisha has led to the deletion of a significant number of voter records across districts. A total of 20,12,676 names removed and Ganjam reported the highest number of deletions. As per the official data of Odisha State Election Commission, as many as 2,07,624 names in Ganjam district removed from the electoral roll. Malkangiri recorded the highest deletion rate among all districts, with 10.25% of its electors removed during the SIR process. Have a look at thedistrict-wise voter deletions:
