Oil India Limited (OIL) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Contractual Geologist under OIL’s Critical Mineral Exploration Programme, for placement at Rajasthan and Arunachal Pradesh under Centre of Excellence for Energy Studies (CoEES), Guwahati, Assam in 2026. : Contractual Geologist (Critical Minerals Programme) : 3 M.Sc. (Geology / Applied Geology) or M. Tech. (Geology / Applied Geology) of minimum two years duration from a Govt. recognized University/Institute. (i) The candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of Economic Geology, Mineral Deposits, and Ore Genesis relevant to the exploration and exploitation of mineral resources. (ii) Publications in reputed journals and/or conference proceedings in the above fields will be an added advantage. (iii) Experience in field geological mapping mineral and resource estimation in mineralized zones is desirable. (iv) Prior work experience in miningrelated industries will be preferred.
