After almost a year, the crucial meeting of the opposition INDIA alliance was held on Monday (June 8) at the Constitution Club in Delhi. A total of 24 representatives, including 23 political parties and an independent MP, participated in the meeting. According to sources, the meeting discussed in detail the 2029 Lok Sabha elections, electoral transparency, unemployment, inflation, farmers'issues, and opposition unity. After the meeting, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that the alliance has agreed on five key points and will fight them jointly. The opposition parties decided to write to the Chief Justice of India on the issue of alleged irregularities in the electoral process, demand the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and call for an all-party meeting from the central government on the economy, unemployment, and farmers'issues. Also, it was decided that the meeting of the INDIA alliance will now be held every two months and coordination within the parliament will be continued. According to sources, Rahul Gandhi's stance in the meeting was both very positive and aggressive. He raised the issue of electoral rigging and said that if Rahul Gandhi considers the alliance as a "more serious problem" than the electoral alliance partners, then it is the INDIA.
