Pakistan and Kuwait Sign Defense Agreement Amid Ongoing Conflict

Pakistan is going to sign a defense agreement with Kuwait, which is under constant attack from Iran in the ongoing conflict with the United States. After Saudi Arabia, Kuwait will be the second country in the Gulf region with which Pakistan will make a defense deal. Kuwait has formally approved this deal. Official information in this regard was also given in Kuwait's official gazette Kuwait Al-Youm on July 26. According to the report of the Kuwait Times, this agreement will create a framework for cooperation between the armies of the two countries. It focuses on military training, intelligence sharing, logistics, defense technology, research, and the exchange of expertise. It also emphasizes on strengthening the new relations between the two countries. The Pakistan-Kuwait defense agreement also includes cooperation in military manufacturing, electronic communication systems, scientific research, military media, and sports activities. A joint military committee will oversee its implementation. The terms of the agreement also include that confidential information shared between the two parties cannot be transferred outside the country for five years without approval.
