Pakistan Arrests Imran Khan's Sisters Ahead of Nationwide Protest

The security agencies of Pakistan have arrested all three sisters of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Lahore police had earlier arrested Imran Khan's sister Alima. Now police have arrested Dr. Uzma Khan and Naureen Niazi. Pakistan police have taken this step before the nationwide demonstration of Imran Khan's party on September 27. PTI spokesperson Sheikh Waqas Akram wrote on X on Monday morning, "They have been put in an armoured vehicle and are being taken to an unknown place." He said that the women's children have also been arrested. Imran Khan's party workers say that the Pakistan police and agencies have arrested Imran Khan's entire clan. Lahore deputy commissioner issued two separate orders on Sunday to detain these three sisters for 30 days under Punjab province's'Maintenance of Public Order'( Maintenance of Public Order) law. Imran Khan's sisters have been arrested. Much to their surprise, Don Khan's son Qasim Khan wrote that the officer forced them into Imran Khan's sisters'houses.
