On Friday, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 157 projects worth over Rs 286 crore of the Urban Development and Housing Department. Presenting a big vision for the future of Patna, he said that a new city named Pataliputra will be built in an area of 66 thousand acres for the expansion of the capital, which will be developed according to international standards. The Chief Minister inaugurated 114 projects worth Rs 1 crore and laid the foundation stone of 43 projects worth Rs 2 crore. He also inaugurated projects worth Rs 3. 03 crore and laid the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 3 crore in the Patna Municipal Corporation area. On this occasion, River Development Project, Green Area Development, Gardens and Pathways were inaugurated under the Patna Smart City Project. A G + 3 Common Service Center built at a cost of Rs 4 crore was also inaugurated in Mithapur. This building will provide various civic facilities including banks, parlours, open air cafes, etc. in a single complex. Addressing the program, the Chief Minister said that the state government is making a lot of efforts to systematize the cities and improve the garbage management situation in the next six months.
