PM Modi Attends G7 Summit in France, Focuses on International Partnerships and Developmental Solidarity

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to France and Slovakia till June. PM Modi will attend the G7 Summit in Evian, France in June. The 52nd G7 Summit is being held under the presidency of France. India has participated in the G7 13 times so far and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is attending the G7 Summit for the 7th time. France has invited India as a partner country in the G7. India's continued participation in the G7 Summits reflects growing international recognition of India's role and contribution in addressing challenges to global peace, security, development, and environmental sustainability. In the outreach sessions of the G7 Summit, Prime Minister Modi will participate in separate discussions with leaders of other invited countries. The main focus of these meetings will be international partnerships and developmental solidarity, promoting shared and balanced development, and effective use of AI. India has been a frequent invitee to the G7 meetings, and India has been a prominent voice in the G7 this year.
