Police Crack Down on Public Gambling in City

The staff of the B Division Police Headquarters in the city were on patrol on Sunday evening. Meanwhile, the control room received a tip-off that some people were gambling in public near street number three behind Ambika Community Hall on Giriraj Road. However, based on this information, the police raided the place. During the investigation, Sunilbhai Panjumal Hirani, his wife Kavitaben and Vinodkumar Panjumal Ahuja, his wife Padmaben, living in street number 3 block number 15 behind Ambika Community Hall, who were gambling in public, were caught and Rs. 2550 in cash was seized. The strict action of the police against gambling in public caused a furore in the gambling hall.
