Political Tensions Run High as Clashes Erupt During Indian By-Elections

During the last hour of voting during the Bankipur Assembly by-election, workers of the BJP and the Jan Suraj Party came face to face near a polling station at AN College in Patna and clashed with each other. Prashant Kishor was also present. BJP candidate Neeraj Sinha also reached there. Police immediately intervened and pacified the matter by separating the workers of both sides. Let us tell you that only 34.30 percent voting has been done till 6 pm in Bankipur, Patna. During the Manjalpur Assembly by-election in Vadodara, there was a tense atmosphere in the Alva Naka area when BJP and Congress workers came face to face. There was a ruckus between the two sides. However, the polling process continued and the police and election administration were fully alert. According to the information, during the voting, BJP workers reached the Alva Naka to contact the voters. Congress workers and some locals who were present at the spot saw the protest. The situation was brought under control by the police.
