Telangana's Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district has witnessed a fresh wave of political violence, with Congress and BJP workers pelting stones and vandalising each other's party offices. The clash started after BJP leaders allegedly attacked the camp office of the local Congress MLA, in response to which Congress workers targeted the BJP office in the town. Police had to intervene and disperse the feuding groups. According to police sources, the dispute started when BJP workers and leaders attacked the Bhuvanagiri MLA's camp office and damaged property. In response, a group of Congress workers reached the BJP office shouting slogans and throwing stones. The situation deteriorated with stone-pelting from both sides, after which police had to resort to mild lathicharge to control the situation. No injuries have been reported so far and the police have filed a case against unknown people from both parties. An FIR will be filed against the BJP for its Nalanda office and Rahul Gandhi's Youth Congress's Right to Reply's on Gandhi's behalf.
