Politics in Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing a major churn these days. The state is going to witness two major power shows of the ruling party and the opposition at the same time. While Chief Minister Omar Abdullah along with his entire cabinet will sit on a dharna in New Delhi demanding "restoration of statehood," the main opposition party BJP has opened a front against the Omar government. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced that its leaders and workers will take out a "Secretariat Gherao March" against the policy of subletting government jobs in Srinagar on July 20. To make the proposed Secretariat Gherao March a success, BJP J & K President and MP Sat Sharma (CA) and Leader of Opposition (MLA) Sunil Sharma held a detailed review meeting in Srinagar. The meeting was attended by the party's state office bearers, district presidents, in-charges and morcha presidents. During the march, peaceful meetings, logistical arrangements and coordination of the BJP workers began at around 8.30 am at the Lal Chowk, Srinagar.
