Prashant Kishor Announces Bid for Bankipur Assembly By-Election in Bihar

Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraj, has announced that he will contest the Bankipur assembly by-election in Bihar. Prashant Kishor claimed that the people of Bankipur are angry with Samrat Chaudhary becoming the chief minister. He says that the people of Bankipur believe that in the 2025 Bihar assembly elections, the people of Bankipur voted not for Samrat Chaudhary, but in the name of Nitish Kumar. He said, "If by contesting, the BJP loses a strong seat like Bankipur, then I am ready to contest the election."
