Preparations Underway for Voting in Datia Assembly Constituency

A total of 291 polling stations have been set up in Datia assembly constituency, including 186 in rural areas and 105 in urban areas. A total of 2,20,344 voters will be able to cast their votes at these stations. 1,16,088 men and 1,04,246 women are among them. Datia SP Mayur Khandelwal said that all security forces have been deployed and a control room has also been set up in view of the voting. He said that every complaint coming to the control room will be dealt with immediately. He said that the police are keeping a special eye on suspicious persons and strict action will be taken against those trying to influence the voting process or disturb the law and order. He said that the police have appealed that the counting of votes will be done on Tuesday evening without any fear.
