Presiding Officer Trainee Seeks Clarification on Missing Voter Name

Served as Presiding Officer since 2006. Trained to serve as Presiding Officer for the 2026 elections twice. The name of the same Sheikh Jahangir Kavi Mandal is missing from the SIR. How can he vote for a valid voter when he himself is an invalid voter? He is questioning the name of the missing Presiding Officer. The name of the English teacher of Dhanyakhali Somspur School, Sheikh Jahangir Kavi Mandal, is a resident of Gudap Majinan. The names of his three brothers are in the SIR. Only his name is missing. The teacher said, "On March 27 last, he came to know that his name has been deleted from the supplementary list. After duty in every election, he has been trained to serve as Presiding Officer twice." The teacher came to the tribunal on Thursday to apply. He said, "I have submitted all my documents from my father's document of 1952. Still, I was called for the hearing. Though the names of my three brothers appear in the SIR list, my name goes in the supplementary list of votes. Then I went to the supplementary paper to find out the name of the candidate.
