Monday is the last day of the monsoon session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Today is going to be a very important day. A total of eight bills are going to be introduced by the government in the house. These include amendments in GST, service of teachers and non-teaching staff, contractual employees policy, important proposals related to universities and panchayat system. Even before the beginning, Congress was seen protesting. Congress MLAs led by Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa protested in the assembly premises. Congress questioned the functioning of the government, calling it a'pack of lies'and a'gossiping government '. According to the agenda of the assembly, there will be non-government business in the house after the question hour. After this, there will be resolution under rule 16 and then legislative business. A total of eight bills are proposed to be presented by the government and they will be passed after discussion. According to the agenda, in the question hour, water resources, farmers and PSLC issues related to Punjab will be discussed in the assembly.
