Rahul Gandhi Accuses BJP of Vote Theft in Recent Elections

New Delhi, Dec 6: The massive victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the West Bengal elections is proving to be difficult for most opposition leaders. While TMC chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has refused to resign despite the defeat, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, has now hit out at the BJP. Rahul Gandhi has claimed that every sixth MP of the BJP won through vote theft. He said that if the elections were fair, the BJP would not have won even 140 seats. Vote theft sometimes steals seats, sometimes the entire government. Out of the 240 MPs of the BJP in the Lok Sabha, almost every sixth MP won through vote theft.
