Rahul Gandhi Demands Action Against Police Over Pellet Gun Allegations

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is sitting on a dharna outside the Parliament Street police station in Delhi. Several senior Congress leaders, including Priyanka Gandhi, are also present. Rahul Gandhi came to the DCP office with Sahil Lochab, the victim of the pellet gun used during the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) agitation at Jantar Mantar. He wants to know where the investigation in this case has reached so far and what action has been taken by the police. Sahil Lochab and his family allege that Lochab was injured by pellet gun pellets in the police action during the Students'Parliament March in Delhi. But the Delhi Police have refused to file an FIR on his complaint. Rahul and Sahil first went to the Connaught Place police station, but later to the DCP office at Parliament Street police station to file an FIR. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi also sought a report on the action taken by the police so far. The Congress leader tried to speak to 200 police officers directly on the matter.
