Rahul Gandhi Demands CEC Gyanesh Kumar's Resignation Amid Election Commission Controversy

Rahul Gandhi has demanded the resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar amid reports that objections of two election commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi are being ignored on many issues including Special Intensive Revision (SIR) within the Election Commission of India. He said that there is theft of votes in countries and elected MPs are making laws by stealing votes, which are illegal. Rahul Gandhi called Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar a'traitor'at a press conference. The Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha demanded Gyanesh Kumar's resignation. He has also advised him to become an official witness. Rahul Gandhi warned that the Congress has fought for freedom, it will not watch silently the destruction of democracy in India. The Congress leader also played videos of Home Minister Amit Shah and PM Modi during his PC, saying that the BJP will rule the country for 30 years or 50 years and in the 2024 elections, the figure of 400 will be reached. Rahul Gandhi said that no one can cite the popularity of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi for this.
