Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday reached the Parliament Street Police Station in Delhi. He went to the DCP office over the use of pellet guns during the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) agitation at Jantar Mantar. There Rahul Gandhi sat on a dharna demanding that an FIR be registered. He said that he will not get up until a case is registered. Delhi Police has registered an FIR in the pellet gun case. The case has been registered under sections 118 and 125 of the BNS. Section 118 relates to voluntarily causing hurt or grievous hurt by dangerous weapon or means, while section 125 relates to an act endangering life or personal safety of others. Rahul Gandhi said that this is the first step towards justice. Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that the registration of an FIR in the pellet gun case is the first step towards justice. He said that it has been a month since the young man was shot and pellets are still stuck in his body. According to Rahul, three pellets are in the eye of the young man, while Rahul Gandhi said that he has four pellets to inflict serious injustices.
