Rahul Gandhi Faces Privilege Notice Over Remarks on Students, Idiots, and Andhbhakts

BJP MP Anurag Thakur has given a notice of breach of privilege against Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha on 29th July for his remarks on Students, Idiots, Andhbhakts. Thakur has called it derogatory and defamatory language against parliamentary decorum. Also in violation of rules 352 (ii), (iii) and (vii). However, what Rahul Gandhi said in the House, about Idiots and Andhbhakts, has been expunged from the proceedings of Parliament. Rahul Gandhi did not name any person during the discussion in Lok Sabha on 29th July, but referred to his conversation with a female student at Jantar Mantar. He mentioned three categories of people. One of them was Student, Idiot, and Andhbhakt. While discussing the Anti-Paper Leak Bill in Lok Sabha, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi gave details. In this, he said that it is the students who walk behind the truth with an open heart and thoughts. According to Student of India, he himself is a blind person who believes that God is not blind.
