Now the land dispute seems to be deepening over the BJP's new district office being built on 80 Feet Road in Kota. The West Central Railway has claimed that the plot on which the party office is being built is the property of the railways and the construction taking place there is against the rules. The railway administration has taken the matter seriously and sent a letter to the concerned authorities on June 16, directing legal action. The Kota Development Authority (KDA) has also been asked to investigate the whole matter and take necessary steps. According to the railways, in 2008, this land was given to the then UIT on a 35-year lease for the purpose of road construction only. The lease terms clearly stated that the land could not be used for any other construction. The railways says that despite this, the BJP's district office is being prepared on this land. An interesting aspect in the case is that in 2020, the UIT had allotted this plot to the BJP. It is now the width of its ID1 meter is recorded in the old documents related to the railway records.
