Politics has heated up over the alleged controversial statement of Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar. Congress workers on Sunday protested strongly against the alleged'goonda'statement made about the protesting youth at Jantar Mantar and demanded the minister's resignation. Congress leaders came out to gherao the Education Minister's residence but were stopped midway by the police. The protesters shouted slogans against the government and the Education Minister. Congress leaders alleged that it is highly objectionable to call the youth protesting peacefully at Jantar Mantar as'goons '. The party says that insulting students and youth who speak in a democratic way in this way does not suit a person holding a constitutional post like the Education Minister. Congress demanded a public apology and resignation from the minister. Congress workers led by former Deputy Mayor Pawan Meena and Congress worker Chetan Solanki marched from LIC building, Veer Savarkar Marg towards the Education Minister's residence. The police stopped the protesters and the security personnel from reaching the residence before the information was received.
