Rajasthan Urban Body Election Results: BJP Leads with 199 Boards, Congress Trails Behind

The picture of choosing the government of the cities of Rajasthan is now quite clear. Out of 309 urban bodies of the state, the election of the chairperson of 301 has been decided. According to the latest data, the BJP has formed the board in 199 bodies, while the Congress is at 94. That is, there is a difference of 105 bodies between the two parties. Now the results of only 8 bodies are left. It will not be easy to understand this whole result by just one number. The BJP is just one board away from the double century with 199 boards. The Congress is on 94 boards. The BJP has 6 municipal corporations, 31 municipal councils and 162 municipalities. The Congress has got the boards in 1 municipal corporation, 13 municipal councils and 80 municipalities. The board of other parties or independents has been formed in 8 different bodies. The mayoral elections have made this picture more interesting. So far, mayors of 7 municipal corporations have been elected. The BJP has got 6 mayors, while the Congress has got one mayor in Bhilwara, Alwar, Ajmer and Alwar. The Congress has won the mayoral elections in Bharatpur, Alwar and Ajmer.
