A new and big earthquake has occurred in the politics of Rajasthan. Shri Rajput Karni Sena and other upper caste organizations, which had taken out a 800-kilometer long march against the new UGC rules, have now announced a cross-border fight. The upper caste society has taken an aggressive stance and announced a complete boycott of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Rajasthan municipal elections (Rajasthan Nagar Nikay Chunav). The Karni Sena has made it clear that the upper caste society will not vote for the big party (BJP). Shri Rajput Karni Sena national president Mahipal Singh Makrana lashed out at both the ruling party and the opposition. He said, "On the one hand, the BJP government at the center is imposing these new UGC rules, while on the other hand, the main opposition party Congress has kept a complete silence on this issue." Makrana warned that the BJP will try to wake up the upper caste society through peaceful agitations.
