Rajkot, Dt. 8: The political atmosphere has heated up regarding the upcoming elections to the Municipal Corporation. As soon as the Congress party's candidate list was announced in Ward No. 17, there was discontent among the locals. People protested in the Hasanwadi area after the name of former corporator Ghanshyamsinh Jadeja was removed from the list. During the protest, a large number of people, especially women, came out on the streets and expressed their displeasure against the party's decision by raising slogans with banners. People raised their demand loudly by chanting slogans like give ticket to Ghanshyamsinh Jadeja. According to the locals, Ghanshyamsinh Jadeja should be made a candidate again as he has done development work in the area. There is no official response from the Congress party on this issue, but the protest has raised the political temperature.
