Rajya Sabha Elections: NDA-backed Candidate Wins Amidst Grand Alliance Infighting

In the Jharkhand Rajya Sabha elections, the ruling alliance of JMM-Congress did what was feared. NDA-backed independent candidate Parimal Nathwani defeated Congress candidate Pranav Jha and secured the post of Rajya Sabha MP. Four MLAs of the Grand Alliance are responsible for this victory.
