Ranavav Police Raids Barada Dungar, Seizes Illegal Yeast and Equipment

Acting on a tip-off that a distiller's furnace was burning in Barada Dungar, Ranavav police conducted a raid and recovered 200 litres of yeast, 50 litres of alcohol and furnace equipment from Vadlavari Jhar near Konana Ness. Police seized a total of ₹100. Bhaya Jeeva Mori of Khambhala village, who was running the furnace, was not found present during the raid. Also, police raided the curtain of the dungar and recovered 600 litres of yeast, kerba and furnace equipment from this place. Police seized ₹650. Nath Jeeva Mori of Khambhala village, who was running the furnace, was not found present during the raid. Police have registered a case against both the persons and further action is being taken.
