Retired Police Director Accused of Raping and Murdering Four-Year-Old Girl

Pravin Dixit, Retired Director General of Police At Nasrapur in Bhor taluka, a sixty-five-year-old man raped and murdered a four-year-old girl. This is a highly condemnable act. He had committed similar acts with minor girls twice before, but the court had exonerated him. Had the High Court taken suo motu cognizance of this incident and had the accused been punished, this incident could have been avoided. The police also need to fight the case in the Supreme Court, if time permits, till the accused is punished in every crime against women. This is a big question for the government, the police, and the entire society. A young woman was brutally raped in Sakinaka, Mumbai, recently and died in an unconscious state. A minor girl was continuously raped in a police station for the last several months; including some minors. Such incidents are not limited to Pune, Mumbai, Thane, and other cities.
