Akhruzzaman made serious allegations against Mamata Banerjee in a direct appeal to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Sonia Gandhi. He said that Mamata Banerjee's faction acts like the BJP's's'B-team '. He alleges that her faction walked out of the house or abstained several times during important bills and crises in parliament, which benefited the government. He also mentioned the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Akhruzzaman alleged that Mamata Banerjee damaged the unity of the opposition alliance and prevented Rahul Gandhi from campaigning in West Bengal. He said that whenever the fight against the BJP intensified, Mamata Banerjee broke away from the alliance.
