RJD Leader Tejashwi Yadav Slams BJP, Chief Minister at Party Foundation Day Event

At a function organised ahead of the Rashtriya Janata Dal's foundation day celebrations in Patna, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav lashed out at the BJP, the chief minister and the state government. He said the party's foundation day is on July 5, but the programme has been put up at the party office today. He pointed out that district-level events could not be held as large-scale events were held in Patna, so foundation day events would be held in districts for the next 4 days. Tejashwi Yadav said Lalu Yadav had founded the party in 1997 and he is a leader who never went back on his promises and ideology, no matter how many forces were in front of him. He said, "Lalu Yadav's name is not just Lalu Yadav, but he is an ideology, a science and a university." He said that today Lalu Yadav is being abused because he (CM Samrat Choudhary) is expected to become the original BJP. Tejashwi said that Lalu Yadav has promoted many leaders, MPs and now made it an opportunity to abuse Lalu Yadav.
