The branches of the Sangh are now expanding in urban areas as well as at the block and village panchayat level. Currently, the expansion of the Sangh is being seen in all three regions of South Bengal, Central Bengal and North Bengal. The RSS has established its first branch in three provinces of South Bengal, the second branch in Kolkata, and the third branch in North Bengal, whose headquarters is near Siliguri.
