Moscow, Dec 8: Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared a unilateral temporary ceasefire in the ongoing fierce war with Ukraine in view of the historic Victory Day celebrations. A large and grand military parade is held at Red Square in Moscow on May 9 every year to commemorate the historic and decisive victory against Nazi Germany in World War II. With the aim of preventing any unrest across the country in this national festival and celebration, and so that the military personnel can also be part of this glorious day with peace of mind, an official order has been issued by the Russian authorities to completely stop all major offensive military operations along the Ukraine border until May 10. International defense and political experts are evaluating this decision not only as a celebration, but also as a deep and new strategy of Russia. According to Pami experts, during this period of temporary peace, the Russian military can re-establish its armaments, supply chains, logistic and combat fatigue.
