Russia's Advance Team Arrives in India Ahead of BRICS Summit 2026

Preparations for the BRICS Summit 2026 are almost complete. Several foreign guests, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, will arrive in India on Tuesday morning. Just before this, foreign planes landed for the first time at Noida Airport. Three Russian aircraft have arrived at Noida Airport. Putin will be in India soon for the BRICS Summit. There is talk of a Russian advance team arriving before his arrival. Before Putin's visit, a Russian military transport aircraft IL-76 arrived at Noida Airport. This aircraft is expected to be accompanied by a Russian advance team. However, no official information has been revealed. This is also the first possible landing of a foreign military aircraft at Noida Airport. Russian planes landed at the airport at around 5: 30 am on Tuesday and remained on the runway for the whole day. Importantly, President Putin's plane is also expected to land at Noida Airport. The BRICS Summit 2026 will be held on 12 and 13 September in Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not be in India for the BRICS Summit.
