Samba Police of Jammu and Kashmir has busted a major criminal gang by taking action. Police have arrested the main kingpin of Chandigarh firing case. A large quantity of arms and ammunition have been recovered from the accused. In a major breakthrough, Samba Police has busted a gang of dreaded criminals active in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. The gang was operating under the leadership of jailed gangster Rohit Kumar alias Makhan and was carrying out extortion in both the states. According to the police, the role of this gang was also revealed in the recent firing incident in Chandigarh in which a pharmacy employee was killed in a shop in broad daylight. One of the main accused, Amit Kumar alias Sharabi, is also among the members of the arrested gang. Makhan, the kingpin of the gang, was working closely with several gangsters of Punjab and was found to be instrumental in organizing this gang for various criminal activities. Among other criminals arrested by Samba Police, Amit Nath alias Sharabi, the kingpin of the gang, son of Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Samba Tehsil Samba, son of Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Samba, son of Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Samba district Samba, was arrested.
