Satara District Council Presents Original Budget for the Year

Satara: Satara District Council's original budget of ₹45.40 crore of revenue expenditure for the year was presented by the administrator. It showed a balance of ₹1 lakh. The budget included new schemes, with the highest allocation of ₹17.74 crore for the Gram Panchayat Department and ₹8 crore for the Construction Department. The department-wise provision was. General Administration - ₹15.50 crore, Education - ₹18.81 crore, Maintenance - ₹8.40 lakh, Public Works Department - ₹20.40 lakh.
